About Me

Jacob Samuel is originally from Singapore but has spent most of his life in New Zealand, where he also completed his studies. He has lived and worked in India, China, Dubai, and Switzerland, primarily in international school settings.

Jacob has extensive experience teaching High School Economics and Computer Science, focusing on the IB and Cambridge curricula. He is currently the Head of the Computing Department at King’s College in Auckland. In addition to his current role, he serves as an external examiner for IB Economics and has previously worked as a workshop leader for the IB in the Asia Pacific region.

On a personal level, Jacob enjoys connecting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and engaging in conversations about shared experiences. His interests include sports—particularly football—travel, and music. He also values time with his family. As a passionate and experienced educator, Jacob is committed to sharing his knowledge widely and supporting students in developing personalized learning pathways toward academic success.

Latest Updates -Curriculum Enhancements

1. Cambridge Programme Upgrade

  • All Cambridge academic syllabus support and tutoring will be completed in Module/Term 1 and Module/Term 2.
  • Module 3 will focus on Cambridge mock exams, external exam revision, and intensive preparation.
  • No additional holiday revision classes will be offered.
  • Small-class teaching: limited to 10 students per class to ensure strong teacher–student interaction and efficient Q&A, supporting strong, high-quality academic progress.

2. New General Studies Programme (Years 7–10)
In response to parents’ and students’ requests, and to help build a solid foundation for senior years, Peak Education will launch General Studies classes for Years 7–10 in 2026.

These classes will not have a limit on student numbers.
