Jana Errington

Jana holds a Science degree from a UK university before beginning her teaching career. She has taught in the UK and the Czech Republic and later moved to New Zealand, where she has had the opportunity to work across a wide range of curricula, including NCEA, the IB Diploma, CIE, and Pearson Edexcel. Throughout her career, she has aimed to inspire and support students to reach their full potential, and she is proud that many have gone on to study at leading universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, and Yale.

She sets high expectations for herself and for the learners she works with, and she is committed to developing students who are resilient, curious, and equipped with both the knowledge and the skills they need for their future pathways. Her current focus is helping students grow into confident, independent learners who can pursue their aspirations with Chemistry as a strength.

Outside of school, she enjoys watching her children play sports and, when she finds time for herself, she relaxes with classic murder mysteries, good coffee, and Whittaker’s chocolate.
